Meet
the Family
Sam
D’Angelo Sr.
Sam D’Angelo was born on March 19, 1931 in Fort Wayne,
Indiana. He is a veteran of the Korean War and an engineer
by trade. Upon meeting his beautiful wife in Fort Wayne, he
moved to Cleveland. He worked at Terex/GM as an engineer for
34 years and retired in 1990. He is instrumental in making
Casa D’Angelo and D’Angelo’s into fine restaurants.
He still works at the Macedonia location.
Josephine
D’Angelo
Josephine was born in February 26, 1933 in Cleveland. Her
travels to Fort Wayne to visit family members were important
to her as she met her husband, Sam, there. Josephine and Sam
were married and moved to Cleveland to start a family. Together,
they have four children, Paul, Lee Ann, Sammy and Jimmy. Josephine
also worked as a bookkeeper and retired in 1986. She too is
an important part of the success of Casa D’Angelo’s
and D’Angelo’s.
Paul
D’Angelo
Paul was born on September 12, 1957. He currently operates
D’Angelo’s in Twinsburg with his wife, Donna,
whom he has been married to since 1984. Paul and Donna met
in West Virginia while he was traveling as a professional
musician. The couple has three children, Alieshia, Allison
and Paul Jr.. Allison is a hostess while Paul Jr. works
as a cook at the Twinsburg location. The family resides
in Hudson. Paul has also trained in the martial arts and
has a 3rd degree black belt.
Lee
Ann D'Angelo
Lee Ann D'Angelo, the only daughter is married to LTC Gary
Ramsdell. They have 5 beautiful children and two granddaughters.
Phillip, Bradley, Laura, Jessica and Jennifer. Their Son
Bradley is married to Carrie Davis and are parents to Gary
and Lee Ann's twin granddaughters Makalin and Alyssia.
Being a military family they have lived and worked all
over the world.
Salvator
(Sam) D’Angelo Jr.
Born on May 10, 1963, Sam loves to cook! He got his start
as a chef with Yours Truly Restaurant. Sam has worked at all
the Casa D’Angelo restaurants. He currently focuses
his time between the Mentor and Twinsburg locations. Sam resides
in Sagamore Hills and is a football and movie fanatic.
Jimmy
D’Angelo (Jimmy D.)
Jimmy is the baby of the family. He was born on May 18, 1965.
Jimmy definitely has a passion for the restaurant business.
He began his career working for Yours Truly in 1982. He
currently oversees operations at the Macedonia and Mentor
locations. He has been married to Brenda, an accountant,
since August 1991. The couple reside in Solon. They have
two daughters, Sarah and Angelica. Both girls work
for the family restaurant in addition to attending college
full time. Jimmy D. loves to be on the move. He is very
handy and enjoys remodeling and fixing things.
Donna
D’Angelo
Donna currently operates D’Angelo’s with her
husband, Paul. Donna has been in the restaurant business
for more than 27 years. The couple has been married for
more than 21 years. They moved back to Cleveland from Los
Angeles to help open the first Casa D’Angelo’s
in 1987. Donna was the interior decorator for each restaurant.
